The job
As global leaders in lens technology and scientific optics, my agency at the time was contacted by Zeiss to become one of their creative partners. With a huge global portfolio of products and innovations, they needed support in creating messaging that helped communicate their values as a company, and the innovation that they bring to the world of vision.
I was a freelance copywriting lead throughout the entire partnership, and also managed all creative and design to ensure quality from beginning to end.
The process
The first was the creation of a brochure that communicated the benefits of their cutting-edge SmartLife portfolio. Together with a designer, I created the brochure from the ground up, including graphic design and copywriting to introduce vision professionals and consumer to the product portfolio.
We helped them with the creation of safety messaging to go up in their global stores, centered around the Covid-19 pandemic. As part of this, we wrote and designed posters to be used in-store, as well as a brochure to give to in-store staff on how to maintain safety. I also wrote a large number of social posts to support the above initiatives, as well as future campaigns.
The outcome
Our brochures and Covid-19 safety messaging were circulated around global markets, and our small agency gained the trust of a global technology behemoth. We continued to work with them regularly in the production of graphic design, copywriting and social media content over a variety of ad-hoc projects.
