The process

Initial Chat and Briefing:
We start with a conversation where you share your project goals and requirements. I’ll review your briefing document to understand exactly what you need and when you need it.

Follow-Up Questions and Quote:
I’ll ask any necessary follow-up questions to clarify the scope of work. From there, I’ll provide an estimated timeline and cost for the project.

Agreement and Kickoff:
Once we agree on the quote, I get started on the project.

Creative Process:
This is where the magic happens! I brainstorm ideas, conduct research, write, edit, refine, and repeat as needed to craft compelling copy that aligns with your vision.

Initial Draft and Feedback:
You’ll receive the first draft for review. I take your feedback into account, make revisions, and send an updated version for a second round of feedback.

Final Tweaks and Delivery:
After making final adjustments, I deliver the finished copy. We celebrate with a virtual high-five—your copy is ready to shine!

Freelance copywriter FAQ

Alright, fair question. AI is great for quick ideas or basic content, but it can’t replace the human touch. I take the time to understand your brand, your audience, and how to craft the writing to be more than just words. Unlike AI, I write content that feels personal, connects emotionally, and just has that special something that robots can't quite produce.

Plus, I’m here to work with you, to tweak and refine based on your feedback, and am not just an empty chat box for you to spend hours testing out prompts with to end up with something 'good enough'. Not hating on AI, it's a fantastic tool. It's just not a great writer.

My rate is £60 per hour (before tax). For bigger projects or when you need a lot of work done, I can offer you a better deal on the price.

I keep things simple and straightforward with my pricing. Most UK freelance copywriters charge between £50-100 per hour, so my rate is competitive while still reflecting the quality work I deliver.

Happy to chat about your specific project needs and work out a price that makes sense for both of us.

The timeline depends on the complexity of the project and my current workload. Simple projects may take a few days, while larger ones could take weeks.

Once I know what you need, I’ll give you an estimated delivery date. But, to answer your question, an article would probably take around four hours, a website homepage around five hours, and a social media post about 20 minutes.

I generally use Google Docs, as we can both work on the file together. There, you can add edits and comments as you prefer and it's generally more manageable that way. That being said, if you prefer something different, it wouldn't be a problem.

As a general guideline, I offer two major rounds of revisions. That’s why it’s important to provide detailed feedback upfront before I move on to the next version. Of course, I’m happy to make small adjustments here and there without fuss or extra charges—we’ll handle those as they come.

Ultimately, my goal is to deliver work that you absolutely love while providing a friendly and flexible service. If that means a bit more fine-tuning, I’m happy to accommodate (within reason).

Absolutely. I worked in an organic search team for four years and am more than familiar on how to please the Mighty Algorithm. I won't do the keyword research, but I'll make sure that titles, meta data, and keyword density are all observed, with internal linking suggestions where appropriate.

Yes! Part of my process includes understanding your brand’s personality and tone of voice so the copy feels authentic and aligned with your business. If you don't have a tone of voice or branding doc, I'll drive the conversation for us to understand what you want.

That's cool, and a normal part of the process. The first draft is just a starting point. Your feedback helps refine the copy until it meets your expectations.

I am a freelance copywriter based in London, but I work with clients all around the world.

I’m happy to communicate via email, video calls (Zoom/Google Meet), or messaging platforms like Slack—whatever works best for you.

Email me at [email protected], and we’ll schedule an initial chat to see how I can help :).
