Communicate from the head and the heart.
From branding, tone, strategy, socials, posters, presentations, and brochures to websites, video scripts, store pages, chatbots, product descriptions, UX, and much more, I’m here to get it done.
How can I help?
Hello, I’m Henry — a freelance or full-time copywriter in London. Come in, see my work, find out what I’m all about, and say hello!
Words are meant to mean something.
But nowadays, generating content has lost its way. Fast. Cheap. Endless. Soulless.
Because when words are this easy to produce, the hard part becomes knowing what’s worth saying.
I still believe words deserve better than that. And so do you.
Write for humans, and you'd be surprised what can happen.
Don't try to be too clever
If the reader has to work to decode the message, the copy fails. Cleverness satisfies the writer; clarity serves the reader. Make the point obvious, show why it matters, and get out of the way.
Strategy first, sentences second
Good copy starts before the writing. Know what you're trying to say, who you're saying it to and what needs to happen next.
Say it like you’d say it
Copy lands when it sounds like one person speaking directly to another. If a phrase feels unnatural spoken out loud, it won't hold up on the page.
Why would anyone give a shit?
People don't care about claims, features, or internal company logic—they care about their own outcomes. Zero in on what matters to them and make it interesting.
Don't manipulate
Some writers like to think frameworks and psychology gets the sale. To me, that's dishonest. Respect your audience and you'll be amazed at what you get back.
Writing from the prompt. Writing from the guts.
