British Lion Eggs - Video, website, social, articles, strategy
The job
British Lion Eggs (as implemented by the British Egg Industry Council) is a hugely recognised mark of safety for eggs. All shops and supermarkets in the UK mostly stock eggs with the British Lion .
My involvement with this organisation was to work with my team across two different websites, organising their content, creating new assets, and modernising their messaging across the board.
The process
The two websites covered egg recipes, and egg nutrition - both with individual content plans, new websites, and social strategies.
My job was huge. I took all the content from over 14 websites, and figured out a way to fit it all together into one. I then mapped out new website architectures and worked with BLE to optimise copy, create new pages where needed and be a trusted partner in the websites overall redevelopment.
As part of it all, I worked regularly with nutritionists and industry experts to make sure all information was accurate and legal. And, on top of it all, I wrote some video scripts, handled all blog content, and supported social media content & strategy.
The outcome
Both websites were launched to success, with a much tighter content experience for visitors. As such, SEO skyrocketed, and traffic increased exponentially. And now, I know everything there is to know about eggs. Maybe too much.
